When we first played this course 6 years ago we were blown away with it, unfortunately after this year it will be the last time we do. The course is hideously overplayed now (along with the o’Connor) due to the all inclusive golf packages the resort offers. Tee boxes are a mess, greens aren’t hammered. The Dom Pedro and ValeDe Lobo courses are definitely a much better option.Don’t bother with buffet breakfast here (price was made up on the spot - started at €30 and was reduced to €15 when we questioned). The plates are side plates (no joke) the bacon has bone in it and the sausages are little frankfurters!

A good, fun, fairly challenging course with all the water, but way too busy! Lots of 5-6 balls allowed to play, large number of groups all turning up with a 12pm tee time and just joining a big queue for the 1st. Once going it was OK, but not well organised and the Marshalls didn’t appear to want to do anything about it.
