Despite teeing off on time, it took 3.5 hours to play just 12 holes and it completely ruined the game and we walked off. Far too many groups playing. The groups in front of us were playing Texas scramble which should be quick but they were holding us and others up on every hole. The marshal said he would sort it out but nothing improved. We complained to reception but they wasn’t interested.

Very busy and slow with a lengthy delay on our start time because again, too many groups booked. Once the group in front finished after 9 we did manage to get a move on. It’s a lovely course though but I really hope they reconsider the booking system.

Well organised and in good condition. Although busy, the groups didn’t create any problems like the other courses. We will return.

Wonderful course and staff very accommodating and helpful. We had booked the Ocean course but asked if we could play the Royal which they managed to do for us. Will return to play Ocean next year for sure.

Have played here many times and although there are a number of blind holes, the course is in good condition and the clubhouse is really nice. The downside though is slow play and the lack of marshals speeding things up. Our 4 ball round was 5hr 20 mins which is crazy!!!

The course is fantastic and I would have given it 5 stars had it not been for the lack of decent pro shop and club house especially with so much money being spent elsewhere.

Looking very tired maybe due to so many people playing but its a nice challenge especially if you havent experienced it. Our group will probably give it a miss next time.

Couldnt fault the place at all except maybe what they charge for golf buggies (€50 each) but they do have satnav. Its a great course all the same.
