The first few holes were really slow but after the 4th the groups spread out and we got round in just over 4 hours which for this course in pretty good. The course was in great condition with some challenging holes. |

on Sat, 24th Jun 2023 Very much enjoyed or afternoon on north course until we got to the 16th when we were asked to return to the clubhouse. We had started our four ball at 16.00 and we were asked to leave at 20.00 because the sprinkler system had been activated. Nobody told us this would be the case, if we’d known we would have booked an earlier time. We even let a two ball through so they could enjoy their round, so that delayed us by at least 10 minutes. Just wish someone had told us about the finish because it spoiled our round. Calling to see them tomorrow to see if they can offer us a discount on a future round. |

on Sun, 18th Jun 2023 Paul the golf Marshall ruined our experience We played over the weekend we flew in from UK and wanted to have nice relaxed day of golf, there is golf marshal named Paul who was horrible really bad manners and threatened to kick us off the course if we play to slow the way he talked down was ridiculous, he got into a yelling match with another person laying as well. Management needs to talk to him and educated him on how to talk to customers |

on Sat, 3rd Jun 2023 QDL North May 2023 Superb course. Layout was interesting and challenging playing from the back (black) tees. I’ll be back to play it again 🤞. Only downside was the distance between some of the greens and tees, but not an issue if you hire a buggy. |

on Wed, 10th May 2023 Pace of play was very slow. 3 flights were waiting on the 2nd hole. Arrived in dark on 18th hole. Course manintenance was excellent. However, with that green fee you can expect that marshalls take care of the game. |

The greens being slightly slower, and no longer the slithery surfaces which made our approaches so difficult, cut strokes from our scores - making it more fun. This doesn't mean that the course is no longer challenging! We just wish we had had time to play it a few more times during this visit. |

on Wed, 11th Nov 2020 The best of the bunch Without doubt the best course in the Quinta / Villamoura area , this is a serious challenge with greens that are fast and furious with undulations that can send a slightly misread putt careering of the green to your amazement , supreme condition and shaped holes giving the faded and drawer challenges , it has the full Monty of all you need in a course , having played it 30 years ago and then again now , it has matured wonderfully and is a must play on any trip , would play it again in a flash and definitely do better on those greens !! |

Fairways excellent, greens were very good, especially for this time of year and after a lot of rain. Bunkers were quality, nice shapes and sizes and the clubhouse and setting were top class. Not cheap, but definitely worth it. |

There is also very few drop kerbs to aid pull trolleys. Lastly I didn’t like the long pull up after the 18th hole |

The North course at Quinta do Lago is a tricky course with fast greens, but none the less a course I'd definitely love to play again. The whole setup on all three courses at Quinta do Lago is second to none, and I'll recommend to everyone who's going to Algarve to play golf, to try all three courses. |
