on Sun, 14th May 2023 A Little Gem Second time we have played this course and it did not disappoint. Tees, fairways and greens in excellent condition. Although not a long course the gradients, trees and doglegs make this a course were you need to plot your way round. Bar and pro shop very helpful. |

on Thu, 4th Aug 2022 Benamor Golf Club - ok visit Booking was very straightforward and with no issues. Teeing off at 11.04 which was the earliest that day for discounted play meant it was very warm. I booked a trolley but in hindsight should have had a buggy. I hired clubs, which were adequate but very basic and well used. Definitely recommend taking your own if possible. The fairways and greens were surprisingly lush considering the heat. Not much run on the fairways which could have been cut a little shorter. Greens were very receptive when played into. Stunning views of the sea and mountains. Holes were relatively short for average golfers. Make sure you book a return taxi as getting one in the afternoon was impossible and had to wait an hour and a half before being told there were non available! Staff not really interested in making an experience. |

Very, very good value for money. Some drivable par 4’s give you a chance for a birdie but others are tricky. Course management more important than just bombing it. Nice little clubhouse with friendly staff. |

In fact a lot better than the ones at Castro Marim where we were not told about green maintenance at all. All the staff were friendly. A very enjoyable round. |

Good condition and would play again. Numerous well places trees which should be avoided. Overall, worth a visit. Nice outside seating area for the non golfers and friendly staff looking after your every needs. |

Both are in good condition considering lack of water in the area both clubhouses and staff maintain high standards.would give both courses a 4 star rating will definitely recommend both courses looking forward to my next trip regards sid stuart |

on Fri, 4th Mar 2016 Difficult greens and some pretty challenging holes that we (handicap 16 & 19) just a bit too much. We had never played the course before. We went out at 2pm and were 'chased' around the course by the green staff who were working changing the hole positions - it really wasn't helpful. The first few holes are no better than OK as they are pretty much inside the housing estate. It opens up after that. There are lots of raised greens so club up. We won't play it again, we really didn't enjoy it that much |
